Men's Five Diseases: Time to Be Aware Of

There is no Men's Day to have fun the spirit of manhood. So, people hardly ever discuss diseases than men suffer from. These top risky health problems are catching up with you sooner and sooner. Men are prone to these disorders at a younger age as stress levels increase and lifestyles get unhealthier by the day. For men heart diseases are obviously the most fatal. However, other equally serious disorders await your lack of knowledge. Here, are the top 5 diseases that, I think men need to watch out for starting from their thirties.

Top Five Health Problems Of Men:

5. Impotency: Impotency is a disease acquired by men very commonly these days. Various disorders like low sperm count; erectile dysfunction, etc are stopping them from being a father and leading a healthy and peaceful family life. These are all products of an uncontrolled and stressful life.

4. Diabetes: Diabetes in general is one of the top health problems and I think it is one of the most familiar diseases throughout the globe. For men it comes sooner than women. Women are protected from diabetes until they reach their menopause. Female reproductive hormone “estrogen” helps regulate blood sugar level in the body. On the other hand, men have very little of this and thus fall prey to diabetes sooner than women. A good diet can help reduce risk of diabetes attack.

3. Lung Cancer: This is the most common cancer among men like cervical cancer among women. Long years of smoking along with some breathing drugs and the increasing pollution units are mainly responsible for this fatal disease. Remember, you cannot escape the pollution, but your lifestyle is in your hands.

2. Strokes: Many people amalgamate strokes with heart attacks. But heart attacks and strokes are not the same things. Although their causes are interrelated, you cannot say that they are same things. A stroke occurs when the blood supply to the brain is stopped and resulting cells of the brain being starved. If you have high blood pressure and a stressful life, you are surely under high risk for strokes.

1. Heart Diseases: This term doesn’t only refer heart attacks. The term 'heart diseases' for men could include a variety of different conditions including COPD, angina, blockages, ache, etc. Though there is no medical proof for it, men tend to suffer from more heart disorders than women do. That’s why some say, “men have weak hearts.” Earlier, cholesterol levels would start rising only after 40. Now, it is not hard to find people with a high blood cholesterol level in early 30s. Get yourself checked for blockages once in a year and do Eco-cardiograms regularly to keep your heart out of risk.

Beware of these diseases and take all necessary steps to prevent them or abide by proper rules if you are already with any of the five.
