Hygiene starts from home. It is useless to say that personal hygiene is the first step to good grooming and good health. Basic cleanliness is common knowledge. If you neglect basic cleanliness it may cause problems that you may not even be aware of. For example, many people with bad breath are blissfully unaware of it. Dandruff can be another example. Some problems may not be your fault at all, but it’s true that you can control these conditions by improving standards of hygiene will. More often than you know, good looks are the result of watchful and nonstop grooming. Every external part of the body demands a basic amount of attention and care on a regular basis. Here are some grooming routines and some complaints connected to neglect.
Personal hygiene is something one should not compromise on. It is necessary to our health and personal grooming is the way to have confident, self assured, and happy personality because you’re never too shy getting nears the ones you have to!
Start from washing hands; never underestimate the power of washing hands. Our hands are to go a lot of places and we don’t constantly want them mixing up with each other. So, wash your hands before eating. It will allow you a more frank use of your hands and assure that you’re not licking any bacteria off your fingers!
Do you want to add a taste of impurities to your food? Do you want your hands to smell of ginger and garlic? You know the answer and so do I. So wash your hands properly before and after preparing foods.
If not a bath, take a shower, daily. With the amount of pollution our dear planet has nowadays, with the filth you cannot stay fresh for too long. This filthy weather is proper for brick and you are not a brick, are you?
Trim your nails every week. Depending on the growth of your nails, you may vary the routine. Actually the purpose is to avoid grunge settling in your nails and to keep them a size that is neither too short to look childish or too long to look like a vampire. Regular manicure can protect you from many diseases. Though long nails become fashionable, but they are definitely not an admirable health practice and can be very dangerous if you have kids around as you might accidentally hurt them!
Give yourself a home made manicure and pedicure every once a while. It does not have to be too fancy, but enough to get a freshly scrubbed and pumiced appearance which goes crushingly with a fragile color on your nails.
If you pay yourself a little attention, about half to one hour a day regularly, you may never face an embarrassing moment in your life as far as personal cleanliness is concerned. Even if it takes winding up your alarm for half an hour earlier, give enough time to take a bath, and then suitably moisturize your body. Brush your teeth methodically and floss them before your breakfast. After finishing meal, a quick gargle will make sure you don’t have bits and pieces left in your mouth to give your breathe a horrible “perfume”.
Similarly, before going to bed, wash your face, hands, neck and feet. It will not only relax you but also wash off all the grime and germs that settle themselves onto you during the time you’re out.
There are numerous things to talk about personal hygiene. I’ll discuss them later. These few steps, if make way into your regular life, change the way you feel and look at yourself. Not only that, you’d certainly feel the difference around your loved ones when you’re ready for an instant hug or something near. Basic grooming does not take too long to bring into practice but has endless benefits.
