It is not an easy task to find some persons who don’t face hair fall problem. If you wash your hair everyday, it is considered quite natural losing 40-50 strands of hair at each wash. But if the rate of hair fall is upsetting, or your hair has started to come out in tufts, and you aren’t able to maintain the same volume of hair there could be cause for concern. In this short post I would like to explain something about this.
Hope you don't face it daily!
Causes of hair fall
It is not unknown that genetics has a great contribution for baldness. But what are other causes? Well, the other reasons for severe hair fall are trichotillamania (compulsive psychological urge to pull out one’s hair), hair styling like coloring, perming, ironing (heating), side effect to certain drugs like in chemotherapy, acne and diet pills, skin diseases on scalp and diabetes.
How to control hair fall
**My first tip is that “know your hair”. That means, study your hair regularly and keep an eye that which products are really helping reduce your hair falling. If you use hair gel make sure to wash it off the next day (and also ensure a good hair gel), do shampoo and condition with reliable products and keep your scalp and hair clean.
** Avoid ironing, perming, rough toweling wet hair , blow-drying and if possible, avoid drugs that can be threat for your hair
**Massage your scalp with lukewarm oil, as it improves blood circulation, trim your hair if you have split ends.
**There are some effective natural treatments, like tea leaves decoction and curd as natural conditioners. You can apply paste of fresh curry leaves. Shikakai powder is also healthy for hair.
**If you see lot of hair fall then rub your scalp with onion juice, garlic juice or ginger juice. You can use one out of the three don’t mix two or three, apply it and leave it over night and wash it out next day.
**Use vitamins as they are not only good for your body but also for your hair. Vitamin A is an anti-oxidant which promotes healthy production of sebum in your scalp; vitamin B contributes to melanin which gives hair its healthy color and also stimulates blood circulation, vitamin E also stimulates blood circulation and increases hair strength.
